“Living Your Yoga” Study Group Special Event With Author Judith Hanson Lasater

Please join us on Zoom as we host our special guest, author of “Living Your Yoga” Judith Hanson Lasater. Judith has been teaching yoga since 1971 & is the author of 11 books covering all aspects of yoga from the physical to the spiritual.

Judith Lasater’s book “Living Your Yoga” is a down-to-earth discussion of how we can use the wisdom of yoga to connect with the sacred in everyday life. The book helps us expand our meaning of yoga beyond the familiar poses and breathing practices to include life off our mats. Judith uses timeless wisdom drawn from the classical yoga texts of the Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita to steer the course and gives us off the mat practices to guide us in deepening our relationships with ourselves, our loved ones, and the world around us. It is both an inspirational and practical guide that teaches us to expand our awareness and presence, helping us to live more fully.

Fall Equinox Workshop + Sound Bath: Release, Reset, & Rebalance

As the seasons shift and the days and nights come into balance, the Fall Equinox invites us to pause, reflect, and align with nature’s rhythm.  Just as the trees release their leaves, this is a powerful time to let go of what no longer serves us, create grounding routines, and plant the seeds of intention for the months ahead.

Join us for an intimate and transformative seasonal workshop blending yoga, breathwork, journaling, acupressure, health coaching, and sound healing.  Together we’ll explore wisdom from Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine, focusing on balance, the lungs and breath, and cultivating routines that support our physical and emotional well-being through the fall season.

You’ll be guided through:

• A grounding yoga sequence designed to support balance, lung health, and release.

• Breathwork and acupressure points to strengthen immunity and calm the nervous system.

• Guided reflection and journaling to clarify what you’re ready to release and what routines will support your goals this season.

• A sound bath to integrate the practice and leave you feeling renewed and aligned.

This will be a small group, high-touch experience— an opportunity to reset and recommit to yourself in community.  You’ll leave with a personalized Fall Rhythm Plan to support your health, balance, and personal growth.

From the ancient yoga tradition, we embrace yoga nidra as the process of moving into pure consciousness.  Yoga nidra explores the liminal space between waking and sleeping.  The art of yoga nidra or yogic sleep is a portal to a divine conscious state of being that is deeply relaxing peeling away layers of stress.  While still awake, the subtle body releases into a place of conscious awareness that reveals our luminous spirit.  This guided meditation practice is deeply healing using the transformative energy of your own body, mind and spirit within the beautiful, peaceful Ocean Bliss Yoga Studio.

Join Helen for a class of deep relaxation and letting go. Ease your body and mind as Helen guides you into different forms using props to allow for profound openings and stimulation of energy lines. This practice is intentionally designed to bring you into a deep, centered, and relaxed state. Resting the body in different forms allows the mind to soften and the heart to expand open. Reiki and essential oils will be offered as optional additions to help the body in this process of release and restoration.

The practice of restorative yoga is healing to body and mind.
