yin yoga
Yin Yoga improves energy flow in the body through passive, longer-held poses. Targeting our connective tissue (the body’s deepest tissue), this practice of release enhances the flow of chi in ligaments, joints, bones, organs, deep fascia, and meridians. Asanas are held for a few to several minutes in stillness promoting softness and ease. Muscles are relaxed during poses to avoid muscle spasm and encourage opening.
yoga for everyday life
This class explores how to carry the peace and presence we find on the yoga mat into our daily lives. Yoga is not just about creating flexibility in our bodies— it also opens our minds and hearts.
Each week, we'll explore different topics that may include yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, open discussion, breathwork, meditation, and/or gentle movement. Together, we will discover how yoga can help us nurture deeper connections with ourselves, our loved ones, and the world around us.
Pilates
Pilates is a low impact, core-centered practice that improves muscle tone, flexibility, strength, balance, mobility, posture, and even mood. Designed to enhance the body’s potential, this structured system of exercises corrects muscular imbalances and puts the body into optimal alignment. Pilates movements are paired with a specific breath to target the smaller and deeper muscles that support structure and overall health. Open to all levels. Modifications offered.
connected flow
This practice blends traditional yoga postures and breathwork with innovative techniques including fascial flossing, fascial maneuvers, and lymphatic system stimulation, to stretch and release fascia, build inner core strength, and calm your mind. Expect a dynamic, core-focused practice designed to nurture your body and support self-care. Suitable for all levels, this practice can be easily tailored to your needs and energy levels with plenty of options and guidance on how to approach each movement for a challenge or some gentle TLC. You'll leave feeling refreshed, revitalized, and empowered.
soften + settle
