The Yoga: A Balanced Practice
This two-hour experience incorporates philosophy, chanting, mudra, asana, pranayama, meditation and Reiki savasana. The krama (sequence) is designed to move our attention from the outer physical body towards attention to subtle body experiences. Our philosophical guide will be the five Koshas. The asana portion will focus on a balance of standing work with floor work. Everyone is welcome. Modifications will be given for newer and more seasoned practitioners. All levels will benefit if one brings oneself wholeheartedly to the experience.

Carla has been teaching the yoga since 2000. Since 2004 she has been a director of Jaya Yoga Center in Brooklyn, where she also co-directs the Jaya's 200 and 300 hour teacher training programs. Additionally, Carla is a Reiki Master/Teacher. She is known for her creative, unique sequences and splashes of humor mixed with no-nonsense yoga philosophy. ERYT YACEP
